The holiday season at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve was made brighter thanks to the St. John Sheriff’s Office and St. John Fire Department. In a heartwarming collaboration, officers and firefighters came together to fulfill the veterans’ request for a festive bonfire. Key figures, including SWAT team members, Officers Chip Wale, and Fire Chief Daniel Perret, took the lead in constructing and lighting the bonfire, creating a beacon of warmth and cheer for the residents. This initiative highlights the community’s dedication to honoring and celebrating its veterans during the holiday season.
