East 12th Street in Reserve experiencing water outage

As of this afternoon, there is a water outage and Boil Water Advisory for East 12th Street in Reserve between East Maple St. and Railroad Crossing on East 12th.
According to a Facebook post made by St. John the Baptist Parish, “Utilities is making emergency hydrant repairs and as a result, there will be a water outage for an estimated 4-6 hours. A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for this area when water is restored.”
When water is restored, those affected are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for one minute before consuming until notified of the Boil Water Advisory lift.
