LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish is in contact with Entergy about customers without power following a bout of severe weather Thursday evening.

Entergy confirmed crews will be out working as weather permits. Entergy is stating that there are poles down in some areas and has no estimated restoration time currently.

At 7 p.m., an Entergy map showed 76 without power along Main Street in LaPlace.
