RESERVE — The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting Wednesday evening at the Road Runner gas station on the corner of Central Ave. and Airline Highway in Reserve.

The SJSO reported the situation was under control.

Following the shooting, heavy police presence was observed at the Ochsner Medical Complex Emergency Room on Airline Highway in LaPlace.
