RESERVE — Less than five months after signing a contact to play for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jared Butler signed a two-way contract with the Washington Wizards on July 28, 2023.

The Wizards compete in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Southeast Division.

Butler, a former Riverside Academy basketball standout, previously played for the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder. With the two-way contract, he is competing in the G-league as well as the NBA.

His jersey number was retired at Riverside Academy following his NCAA win in 2021.
