LAPLACE — National Night Out Against Crime will be held Tuesday, October 17 in St. John the Baptist Parish. Sheriff Mike Tregre and his officers invite neighborhoods to register parties with the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office.

National Night Out Against Crime is an annual community building campaign that promotes law-enforcement – community partnerships and neighborhoods camaraderie to make our neighborhood safer, more caring places to live. It provides a great opportunity to bring law-enforcement and neighbors together under positive circumstances and raises awareness about crime prevention in the community.

Neighborhoods hosting a block party should register on the SJSO website by visiting stjohnsheriff.org/citizens-services/nightout/
