A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) enforcement agent cited a St. Rose man for alleged littering violations on Aug. 4 in St. John Parish.

Agent Mason Costello cited Randy D. Riggins, 39, for gross littering.

Agent Costello observed Riggins driving a large rental truck into a well-known illegal dump site.  Agent Costello then watched Riggins throw multiple items out of the truck onto the litter pile.  Agent Costello made contact with Riggins and issued him the citation for gross littering.

Gross littering carries up to a $900 fine, 30 days in jail and 16 hours of community service in a litter abatement program.
