In late July, the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division began an investigation of Clement and his involvement in the distribution of illegal narcotics, specifically methamphetamine and marijuana, in St. John the Baptist Parish.
Clement has an arrest history including, but not limited to accessory to theft, possession of amphetamine less than 28 grams, possession of hydrocodone, possession of suboxone, possession of Xanax (Alprazolam), possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Xanax (Alprazolam) and possession of marijuana, distribution of Schedule III CDS, distribution/manufacturing of schedule I CDS, illegal use of controlled drug in the presence of persons under 17 years old, possession or distribution of drug paraphernalia third offense and possession of schedule IV CDS.
Based on the recent investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for Clement’s arrest. During his arrest and subsequent search warrant at his residence in the 200 block of Annex Drive, detectives located and recovered about 46 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 21 amphetamine tablets, over six pounds of marijuana, and over nearly $25,000 in cash.
