Reverse Trade Show unites local businesses

RESERVE — During a Reverse Trade Show hosted July 27, the River Region Chamber of Commerce invited representatives from the procurement departments of large local companies to set up booths to network and build working relationships with the small business community. The event took place at the River Parishes Community College St. Charles Campus.
Participants included Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., Bayer, Denka Performance Elastomer, Edward Jones – Justin Goings, AAMS, Edward Jones – Kenner, Entergy, St. John The Baptist Parish, Greenfield Louisiana, LLC, International Matex Tank Terminals, Occidental Chemical – Hahnville, Port of South Louisiana, River Parishes Tourist Commission, St. Charles Parish, St. Charles Parish Public Schools, St. James Parish, St. John The Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office and St. John The Baptist Parish Public Schools. Food vendors were UniKakes Bakery, Malou’s Southern Eatery and Mr.Block’s Computer Repair.
