During a meeting held July 12 at the Norco Library, the Spillway Radio Control Flying Club voted unanimously to rename the Barry Bleakly Field in honor of Vice President Dennis Hymel, who recently passed.

  RC Club President Mark Rabito and Jerry Mollere said a few words in praise of Hymel, giving testimony to how helpful he was with other club members.

  During the meeting, Club Secretary Harold Berner was elected as the new vice president for the club. An election was then held for the vacant secretary position, and new member Mark Hurstell was elected as the new secretary.
