I met last week with a representative of the Louisiana Strategic Plan for Children group and received a copy of its 2023-2028,strategic plan for children. I totally agree with its call to “Geaux Big for Louisiana’s Little Ones.”

Nearly 1/3 of Louisiana’s under five years old live in poverty. We must break that cycle. Our children should be thriving, not just surviving.

As a candidate for the Legislature, I promise to support prenatal care for expectant mothers, medical care for newborns and youngsters, and early education for all children.

Nothing is more important to our future than our children.
