The River Region Chamber of Commerce continues to serve its members and the surrounding communities with a focus on economic development. Through events and programs, the Chamber promotes local businesses while encouraging community engagement and growth by providing networking opportunities, business tools and advocacy initiatives.

We are now halfway through the year 2023, and so much has taken place. We had an overwhelmingly successful annual crawfish boil (May) and golf tournament (June). Thank you to all of our sponsors and business members who participated, volunteered, and donated resources to make it possible.

To close out June 2023, we had our General Membership Meeting featuring Tommy Faucheux, president of the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association. In addition to our featured speaker, the U.S. Chamber’s Christopher Guith addressed our general membership audience. This meeting provided valuable insights into the oil and gas industry as well as the current events and topics of interest as a member of the U.S. Chamber.

The Chamber began the year with a focus on creating a nexus between partners and member businesses. This effort has resulted in valuable collaborations and partnerships that benefit both the members and the community. The Chamber remains committed to fostering these connections and helping members thrive in a dynamic business landscape.

As the Chamber enters the second half of the year, we highlight the graduation of the Leadership River Region class of 2023. I encourage current and future members to apply for the program before spots fill up. Those interested in sponsoring the program or being a guest speaker can reach out to the River Region Chamber.

As we take off for our final half of the year, get involved and stay engaged! #wheelsup2023
