St. John Parish hosts Career and Job Fair

This successful event brought out many local partners seeking employees. From left is a representative from Louisiana State Police, Parish President Jaclyn Hotard, St. John Sheriff Mike Tregre and Councilman Michael Wright.
Students from both East St. John High School and West St. John High School were in attendance as graduation is in sight.
First responders were present, including members of the St. John Parish Fire Department.
Marathon representatives introduced job-seekers to a "brighter tomorrow."

LAPLACE — Small businesses and industry partners, seemingly on opposite ends of the spectrum, each play an important role in St. John the Baptist Parish’s economic development.
“No matter how big or small your business is, you play a vital role into the health of our community,” Parish President Hotard said.
Economic Development Week Kickoff Reception was held Monday evening at Petra Restaurant in LaPlace. On Tuesday, St. John Parish hosted a Career & Job Fair at REGALA Gym.
