EDGARD — It was a joy to see how creative children were with their masterpieces during the recent Edible Book Contest co-hosted by St. John Parish 4-H and the St. John the Baptist Parish Library System. Winners from each branch were as follows:
Garyville Branch
Best in Show – Paizlynn M. – “Oh the Places You Can Go”
Reserve Branch
Best in Show – Sarai G. – “The Secret Garden”
Most Funniest/Punniest – Mya B. – “Dairy of a Wimpy Kid”
People’s Choice Award – Danneal J. – “Pete the Cat”
Participation – Devin J. “Dogs and Puppies”
The contest will return to St. John Parish next year.–
