Summer Camp Registration Now Open in St. Charles

Registration for the Ochsner Sports Agility Clinic, Summer Basketball Camp, Summer Baseball Camp and Summer Softball Camp is open through May 31. 

Luling, La. – The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation announced registration is open through May 31 online at scpparksandrec.com for four of its summer camps and clinics. The Ochsner Sports Agility Clinic, Summer Basketball Camp, Summer Baseball Camp and Summer Softball Camp will take place in June, and residents are encouraged to sign their children up early to secure a spot in the camp.

Ochsner Sports Agility Camp
The Ochsner Sports Agility camp is a 6-week program for young athletes 7-14 who are interested in getting stronger, faster and improving their overall athleticism. The clinic will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center.

Summer Baseball Camp
The summer baseball camp is offered to boys 7-14 years of age at the West Bank Bridge Park. This two-week session in June will teach campers batting skills, pitching skills, fielding skills, base running, conditioning and more.

Summer Basketball Camp
Summer basketball camp is a week-long session for boys and girls 6-16 years old open to attend and learn the fundamentals of basketball. Camp will take place at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center.

Summer Softball Camp
Summer softball camp is open to girls 7-14 at the East Bank Bridge Park. This two-week session in June will teach campers batting skills, fielding skills, pitching skills, base running and conditioning.

Summer programming will continue in July with Flag Football. Registration for the camp will take place June 1 -31.
