St. John Parish– The Planning and Zoning department will be hosting two public meetings to review updates to its Subdivision and Zoning ordinances. Updates to include:

•Simplifying language for ease of understanding.

•Improving procedures to ensure clear and understandable processes.

•Update Zoning Use Categories.

• Consolidate landscape requirements.

•Update Parking provisions.

Meetings will be held as follows:

West Bank:

6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2 at the  Roland Borne, Sr. Memorial Library, located at 2979 LA-18 in Edgard.

East Bank:

6 p.m. on  Thursday. May 4 at the St. John Council Chambers located at 1811 W. Airline Hwy, in LaPlace.
