LULING – For the third consecutive summer, St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation, in partnership with GNO Cornhole, will host a 10-week Summer Cornhole League on Tuesday nights beginning May 16 at 7 p.m. in the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center Gymnasium.

Registration for the league is open through Friday, May 12. Teams of two to six players can register online at www.gnocornhole.com for $100 per team. Players of all ages are welcome to participate in the family-friendly league.

“The most exciting way to spend your summer nights is in our Cornhole League at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center, “ Director of Parks and Recreation Duane Foret said. “It is great to see how our partnership with GNO Cornhole has unified people of all ages, from children as young as 5 to adults and seniors, in friendly competition.”

Cornhole has grown in each of its first two seasons. In 2022, there was an increase of 12 teams for a 42-team league, with participants of all ages tossing bean bags weekly.

The Edward A. Dufresne Community Center is located at 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Pkwy in Luling.
