The River Region Chamber has experienced a series of milestones since the beginning of the year, with more exciting developments on the horizon. Despite an unexpected change in guest speakers for our first quarterly general membership meeting, Marie Centanni stepped in to provide valuable information about LABI’s LA23 program and the organization’s future plans. Meanwhile, Jay Robichaux, the Chamber Staff, and our Volunteer Team successfully executed the Chamber’s first major event, setting a high standard for future gatherings.

Our committees are now fully operational, and we’re actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our ranks. By matching your skills, talents and passions with our chamber’s needs, you can make a significant impact on our community. If you’re interested in learning more, please reach out to our office to schedule a conversation with one of our chairs or co-chairs.

As we move forward, there are several exciting events and projects to look forward to. Our Chamber’s Directory is currently in the design stage, and advertising opportunities are available through the Communications Committee or Chamber Staff. Mark your calendars for our upcoming golf tournament on April 13, followed by the annual crawfish boil on May 18. Sponsorships for these events are still open.

The next couple of months present numerous chances for our membership and board members to engage with the local community. We hope to see you at our upcoming events and are eager to feature you in the 2023 Chamber Directory. Together, let’s continue to make the River Region Chamber a thriving and vital part of our community.
