GRAMERCY — St. James Parish will be offering free line dancing classes on Thursday Nights in April! Classes will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on April 13, 20, and 27 at the St. James Parish Recreation Center, located at 1735 Deroche Circle in Gramercy.

Ms. Susan “Susie Q” Bailey will be instructing the classes. Bailey has over 20 years’ experience as a certified line dance instructor and taught classes throughout the River Parishes and surrounding areas. She’s very dedicated and passionate about dancing.

Line dancing has many benefits, including:

1. Lowering your blood pressure and cholesterol levels
2. Muscle Toner
3. Stress Reducer
4. Increase mobility without joint damage
5. Aids in effort to lose weight
