Tell us a little bit about your business. 

 I started Home Away from Home Transportation Services in 2011, transporting kids to and from school in St. John the Baptist Parish. I then renamed my business to United Front Transportation Services, where services include private driving, parties, weddings, tourism, airport pickup and drop-offs, cruise terminal pickup, and day trips.

Who are some of your role models you look up to, and why? 

 My biggest role model was my late mother, Geraldine Mason. She was God fearing, prayerful and most of all my biggest supporter. She always reminded me to pray and to continue to trust God.

Why is it important to encourage and be a role model for other young women that want to get into business? 

 I would like to encourage everyone that whatever you are passionate about go for it. Put all your fears aside and go for it. You will Never know the outcome if you don’t try. I used my trails, and difficult times as a testimony to share with others to never quit on your dreams, goals, and most importantly yourself. I am only doing God’s work by being a servant and helping the next person. I am always ready to give out information and tools that they may need to be successful in their business. If God gives it to me, He trust me enough to give it to someone else.

What advice would you offer?

 To always stay around positive people that speak life into your businesses. Expand your knowledge and surroundings to always want to learn more and most importantly stay humble, teachable and a servant to help others.
