UPDATE: I-310 Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge Southbound Nightly Land Closures Feb. 4-13

Luling — Concrete barrier installation along the roadway shoulders of the southbound I-310 Boggs Memorial Bridge has been rescheduled to extend until February 13, 2023. Nightly alternating lane closures traveling northbound are complete and have been discontinued.

Maintenance crews will be installing concerete barriers along the shoulder of the I-310 Hale Boggs Bridge southbound through Monday, February 13, 2023. The work will only be done at night and all lanes and ramps will be open during the day.

The alternating lane closures scheduled for I-310 southbound through Monday, February 13, are as follows:

  • 7:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m., Sunday – Thursday.

    · 7:30 p.m. – 11:00 a.m., Friday – Saturday.

UPDATE: I-310 Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge Nightly Lane Closure Updates

Luling — Concrete barrier installation along the roadway shoulders has been completed northbound along the I-310 Boggs Memorial Bridge. Nightly alternating lane closures traveling northbound have been discontinued.

The southbound lane barrier installation, originally scheduled to begin January 18, 2023, has been delayed until Monday, January 30, 2023. Southbound nightly alternating lane closures are expected to last approximately one week and are weather permitting.

The alternating southbound closures, beginning Monday, January 30, are as scheduled:

  • 7:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m., Sunday – Thursday.
  • 7:30 p.m. – 11:00 a.m., Friday – Saturday.

Luling, LA – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, January 16, 2023, maintenance will commence on the Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge (I-310, between LA 48 and LA 18), requiring nightly alternating lane closures as crews install concrete barriers along the roadway shoulders of the bridge.

The nightly alternating lane closures, which are weather permitting, are expected to last approximately two weeks and be completed by January 31, 2023.

All four traffic lanes, which are scheduled to be shifted and reduced slightly in width to accommodate work crews, will remain completely open to the public during the day. Additionally, all entrance and exit ramps will remain open at all times.
Nightly alternating lane closures are as scheduled:

I-310 Northbound:

· 7:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m., Sunday – Thursday.
· 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 a.m., Friday – Saturday.

I-310 Southbound:
· 7:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m., Sunday – Thursday.
· 7:30 p.m. – 11:00 a.m., Friday – Saturday.
