Sheriff Mike Tregre announced a situation involving a male subject barricaded inside a LaPlace motel has ended peacefully this afternoon with no injuries.
The area is all clear.

The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office is reporting that traffic on East Airline Hwy is down to one lane due to police presence. This is an ongoing situation and information will be released as it becomes available.
