BATON ROUGE, La. – The Community Affiliate network of Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) will celebrate Louisiana Arbor Day, which is Jan. 20, with the following events:

4 p.m. – Keep Eunice Beautiful and Bulb & Blossom Garden Club of Eunice to plant a native tree at Eunice Fairground Park. Open to the public. For information, contact

The state of Louisiana designates the third Friday in January as Arbor Day to coincide with Louisiana’s tree-planting season.
Love the Boot Week, April 17-23, will provide the people of Louisiana with another opportunity to organize tree-planting events. Registration for this statewide cleanup and beautification effort will open Jan. 23 at
