New Years Eve kept the KPD patrol division busy. One careless and dangerous call involved 3 bullets entering a residence in the 2200 block of Indiana. Officer’s investigation revealed 60 plus- .40 caliber spent shell casings in front of a residence in the 2200 block of Idaho, a search warrant was applied for and granted for that residence. Upon execution officers located a .40 caliber handgun concealed in a garbage can. Investigation is still ongoing but rest assured anyone involved in such dangerous and criminal conduct like this will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law in Kenner.
