RESERVE — River Parish Community Theatre is proud to announce their 2023 summer production, the 2018 Tony Award winner, ‘The SpongeBob Musical’.

“We are thrilled to be working on ‘The SpongeBob Musical’. We are excited to bring one of Broadway’s newest releases to the stage”, said RPCT Artistic Director Darryl Clement. Clement also said, “RPCT is always looking for ways to expand our artistic offerings and this show will certainly be something new and exciting for us.”

‘The SpongeBob Musical’ will run July 21-23 and July 26-29 at St. Peter School in Reserve, LA. Audition information will be published on the theatre website, www.riverparishtheatre.org, and on all RPCT social media accounts, @riverparishct.

RPCT President Sean Roussel added, “We have built a strong reputation for high-quality, high-energy productions. The SpongeBob Musical will be no different. We look forward to welcoming lots of people to be part of this production. Audiences will get to see yet another fresh new title from River Parish Community Theatre, and that is one reason why we enjoy such wonderful community support.”

River Parish Community Theatre announced the summer musical during the annual Christmas concert, “Songs of the Season,” on December 18. The event, which was at no charge to the community, included the collection of items for the St. Peter’s food pantry.
