TPSO seeks help finding suspect of retail theft

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect of a retail theft.
Chief Jimmy Travis reports on November 26, 2022, a white female entered the Dollar General store located on Hwy 443 between Hammond and Loranger, to return an item. Upon returning the item, the female proceeded to around the store. Employees shortly after noticed the female running out of the store, at which time a review of the security footage showed the female placing items into her purse near the laundry detergent aisle. The female was seen entering the store just after 3:00 PM wearing a tie-dye shirt and gray sweatpants.
