BATON ROUGE, La. – Registration is now open for an LED FastStart online career fair that will connect job seekers in the New Orleans area with 40 available positions at the Elmwood corporate offices of Stewart Enterprises, a subsidiary of SCI, North America’s leading provider of funeral, cemetery and cremation services.

The online event will take place Wednesday, Dec 14, from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. Positions to be filled at the career fair include:

• Bilingual First Party Collections Representative
• First Party Collections Representative
• Collections Supervisor

The company will conduct virtual interviews and offer on-the-spot hiring for qualified candidates. New hires will begin as early as January with approximately 30 days of on-the-job training, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Shift schedules are eight hours, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hybrid schedules are available. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

Using the Brazen virtual events platform, job seekers will have the opportunity to learn about the company and see the opportunities for which they are best suited. Registrants also can participate in video chats with company representatives.

Since the digital LED FastStart Recruiting platform was launched in October 2020, over 1,800 job seekers have participated in more than 25 online career fairs for multiple businesses or individual companies. The fairs have covered a range of industries, from digital/tech to manufacturing. Similar events showcasing other job sectors will be scheduled throughout the year.
