The  Norco  Christmas  Parade  will usher in the holiday season on Sunday when  it  returns  to  the  streets  of Norco after a two-year absence, and Riverside  Academy  will  be  there. The Marching Pride of Riverside, along with the Southern Sweethearts, will again perform in the parade, ushering in Santa and Mrs. Claus. The band traditionally is the last musical group before the visitors from the North Pole. Revived in 2001,

the parade was canceled in 2020 due to COVID and in 2021 because of significant damage to the area from Hurricane Ida. The parade will roll at 1 p.m.on December 4, beginning on River Road at Apple Street. It travels up Good Hope Street to Sixth Street, then travels back down Apple Street to River Road where it disbands. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for free photos with children at the community Christmas tree in the new Norco Town Square.
