The Comets are coming off of a 40-21 win against Parkview Baptist in the quarterfinals. Semare Scott helped SCC reach the scoreboard very early in the first quarter on a 91-yard kickoff return. The Eagles had a two-yard touchdown run before SCC’s Davon Stirgus followed with another touchdown to end the first quarter 14-7 with the Comets on top.

Stirgus and Ayden Authement had touchdowns in the second quarter to lengthen the lead to 27-7 at halftime. The Eagles fought back with two touchdowns in the third, making the score 27-21. Stirgus made his third touchdown of the night with 13 seconds left in the third, but the two-point conversion that followed was no good. Late in the fourth quarter, Jackson Monica added a final 27-yard touchdown run to solidify the 40-21 win.
