Ponchatoula PD investigate Saturday shooting

The Ponchatoula Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday around 4:20pm in the area of S. 8th Street & W. McClellan St.
A female victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg as the vehicle she was sitting in was fired upon multiple times. Detectives are actively working this case and ask that anyone with information please call the PD.
