Teens & Traffic Stops class offered

Teens from St. John are invited to learn how a traffic stop is conducted by the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office during a class from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Lyndon B. Johnson Law Enforcement Training Center in LaPlace.
This informative and interactive class will teach teens ages 15 to 18 about their rights, responsibilities, and proper interactions with officers to ensure that traffic stops end safely for new drivers as well as officers.
Teens must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Register now by emailing training@stjohnsheriff.org or calling 985-359-8685. The class will be limited to the first 30 who register.
The LBJ Training Center is located at 947 Cambridge Drive in LaPlace.
