Governor appoints Stephen Weber to NOCCA Board of Directors

NORCO — This week, Governor John Bel Edwards appointed Stephen G. Weber of Norco to the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts Board of Directors (NOCCA). Weber is a retired high school principal and president of the Norco Civic Association. He will serve at-large.
The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts Board of Directors oversee the management of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). Oversight includes the hiring of the President/CEO, oversight of the fiscal operations of the facility, and development of policies necessary to operate the center. NOCCA is a state agency whose mission is to provide arts training for high school age students who aspire to be professional artists.
Other appointees to the NOCCA Board of Directors include Rhenea C. Carter and Mark Anthony Thomas of New Orleans.
