SCSO seeks help finding missing woman

Update: Missing person found

Detectives with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office ask for the public’s help to locate Takila M. Chopin, a 34-year-old black female from Boutte, Louisiana. Takila also uses the name Monique.

Takila Chopin was reported missing by a family member, who last spoke to her on September 22, 2022.

Through investigation, Detectives have learned that Takila was last seen leaving the Siesta Motel located at 5353 West Bank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana on September 26, 2022, at approximately 11:00 am by motel staff. It is unknown if Takila left in a vehicle or on foot.

Takila Chopin is 4’11 in height and weighs 108 pounds with a slim build. She has brown eyes and black hair. It is unknown what clothing Takila was wearing when she left the motel.

It is unknown where Takila was traveling to after leaving the hotel and her last known address is in Harvey, Louisiana.
