Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents cited a Lafayette man for an alleged charter guide violation in Jefferson Parish on Aug. 27.
Agents cited Dylan Hargrave, 25, for operating as a charter guide without a charter guide license.
Agents received information that Hargrave was conducting unlicensed charter fishing trips out of Grand Isle. During the investigation, agents found that Hargrave advertised charter fishing trips on social media. Agents made contact with Hargrave on Aug. 27 in Grand Isle and he did not possess a charter guide license.
Operating as a charter guide without a charter guide license brings a $400 to $950 fine and up to 120 days in jail.
Agents participating in the case are Lt. Joey Thompson and Corporal Jonathan Boudreaux.
