On August 10, 2022, a St. James Parish Grand Jury returned a True Bill of Indictment on 56-year-old Randy Nicholas of 23 Milton Rd. Pensacola Florida on the charges of Aggravated Crimes Against Nature, First Degree Rape, and Oral Sexual Battery.

This indictment stems from a sexual assault investigation which began last year. St. James Parish Sheriff’s Detectives were notified by an out of state law enforcement agency who wished to share information regarding a juvenile sexual assault victim in St. James Parish. Detectives learned that the juvenile victim had been sexually assaulted by Randy Nicholas during the course of several years. Detectives applied for and were granted a warrant of arrest for Nicholas. Nicholas was arrested and booked into the St. James Parish Jail.

Nicholas remains incarcerated and held without bond. Assistant District Attorney Bruce Mohon is the lead prosecutor on this case.
