Reverend Leroy Keys departed this life and entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 28, 2022, at the age of 80 years old.  Son of the late Julius Keys and Bernadine Cook.

Reverend Keys leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Dianne Keys; one adopted daughter, Kaydynn Lundy Keys; two stepsons, Darren and Hardell Mack; one stepdaughter, Yolanda Martin (Alfred); one brother, Lloyd Cook; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius Keys and Bernadine Cook; brother, Harold Cook; and two sisters, Doris Thompson and Bernice Butler.

Relatives and friends of the family, Kenner Calvary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to the homegoing celebration for Reverend Leroy Keys on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Kenner Calvary Baptist Church, 929 S. Sibley St., Metairie, LA 70003. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the above-named church.  Visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Bardell’s Mortuary, 3856 LA 44, Mt. Airy, LA 70076.  Services entrusted to Bardell’s Mortuary.  Information: (985)535-6837.
