Louisiana State Police Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting

Lafayette – This morning, detectives assigned to the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were requested by the Lafayette Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting involving their officers.
One subject is in stable condition at a local hospital. No officers were injured. The Lafayette Parish Metro Crime Scene Unit is processing the scene for evidence.
This is an active investigation and further information will be released when it becomes available.
