Robert Charles ‘Bob’ Albrecht, M.D. passed away peacefully at Sanctuary at Passages Hospice on Thursday, November 4, 2021.  He was 91, a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Reserve, LA for the past 59 years.  Bob was a graduate of Behrman High School and L.S.U. Medical School.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. and held the rank of  Capt.  Dr. Albrecht began his family medicine practice in Reserve, LA in 1962, where for 59 years, he served the people of the River Parishes.

For 65 years he was the beloved husband of the late Faye Marie Johnston Albrecht.  Father of Cynthia G. Albrecht, Clay H. Albrecht (Tavie), Gary R. Albrecht (Patricia) and the late Jane Albrecht Monk and Robert Albrecht, Jr.  Son of the late Lillian Packard Albrecht and Ferdinand George Albrecht.  Brother of Lylen Terral and the late Lyle Albrecht, F.G. Albrecht, Murial Cornibe, Lillian Fonseca, Ethlyn Drinkhaus, and Gayle Harvey.  Grandfather of Hollie O’Keeffe (Philip), Rickey Pate (Ashley), Tiffany Albrecht (John), Randall Monk, Rosalyn Monk, Christian Pate, and Corey Albrecht.  Great grandfather of Kayla, Krysta, Keiran, Brendan, Kyllie, John, Klair, Marleigh, Jordan, Farrah, Kylar and Eliana.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, November 8, 2021, at L. A. Muhleisen and Son, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA, followed by Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.  To share memories or condolences, please visit www.muhleisen.com
