Group Arrested for Felony Crimes Against the Elderly

Two Reserve women and two LaPlace men were arrested recently for felony crimes against the elderly. They are Jenny Guidry, 44, and Kelly Keating, 38; and Quinn Boudreaux, 42, and Eric Blackwell, 30.
In early August, officers responded to a complaint from an elderly woman who reported stolen checks. Through investigation, detectives developed Guidry, Keating, Boudreaux and Blackwell as suspects in connection to the stolen checks. Guidry, who lived with the elderly resident, stole checks from the resident, then wrote and distributed checks to Keating, Boudreaux and Blackwell and had them deposit the checks into their personal accounts for her.
Based on investigation, detectives obtained judicial warrants for the arrest of Guidry, Keating, Boudreaux and Blackwell.
Guidry was arrested August 25, 2021 and charged with principal to bank fraud (felony), exploitation of the infirmed (felony), principal to forgery, identity theft. Guidry also was wanted on a contempt of court warrant. She is being held in custody in lieu of a $110,169.50.
Keating was arrested August 25, 2021 and charged with principal to bank fraud (felony). She is being held in custody in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
Blackwell also was wanted on several contempt of court warrants and was charged August 25, 2021 with for three counts for principal to bank fraud. He is being held in custody in lieu of a $75,869.50.
Boudreaux was arrested August 20, 2021 and charged with principal to bank fraud. He is being held in custody in lieu of an $8,019.50 bond.
