Pamela Sue Roush Tewell, age 67, of Prairieville, Louisiana tragically passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 after succumbing to COVID-19.

Pamela was born December 28, 1953 in East Saint Louis, IL and graduated from Lawrenceville High School in Lawrenceville, IL in 1972. After graduation, she worked for and later inherited Lawrenceville Sales Company. She then worked for Golden Rule Insurance until moving to Garyville, LA where she worked for NALCO Chemical, with whom she later retired. She was actively involved in personal safety and martial arts classes.

Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Camilla Mounts Roush and Douglas Roush, her husband, George F. Tewell, and her long-term partner for the past 3 years, Mike Godawa, who passed away only one week before Pamela after losing his own battle with COVID-19.

Pamela is survived by her children, Tina Lanoux (Brad), Genara Teele (Glenn), and Andrew Tewell (Leah), her brother, Kevin Roush, and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Baton Rouge General Mid-City ICU for the care and compassion they showed to Pamela in her final days.
