Be aware! After a long intermission, community theater is back in St. John Parish.
I encourage everyone to support two local theater productions in July. This will be the Summer of Princesses. The River Parishes have an abundance of talent and all is on display this summer.
First up, River Parish Community Theatre will present Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, July 16-18 and 21-24. All shows at St. Peter School in Reserve. Tickets are available at riverparishtheatre.org.
Later in July, the Historic St. John Theatre will produce Once Upon A Mattress, July 23-25 and 28-31. All shows are at the theatre 115 West 4th Street in Reserve. Tickets are available at Allied Express in LaPlace and at the theatre’s website, stjohntheatre.com.
