Hahnville, LA – The United States and State of Louisiana flags will be lowered at all St. Charles Parish Government Buildings in honor of former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards (1972-80, 1984-88, 1992-96), following Governor John Bel Edwards’ orders. The late governor, Edwards, passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 93. The flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of his interment.
