LAPLACE — The River Region chamber of Commerce is once again partnering with local businesses to welcome new teachers to St. James, St. Charles and St. John the Baptist parishes. The Chamber will pull together a team to stuff appreciation bags and deliver them to new teacher orientation meetings. However, it will take the support of local business partners to fill bags with promotional items, fun goodies and supplies.

Items can be dropped off at the Chamber office at 390 Belle Terre Boulevard in LaPlace from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday. The deadline to drop off items will be July 14.
