 Wayne Albert Swanson passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the age of 68. He was born in New Orleans, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA. He was a graduate of Redemptorist High School class of 1973. He loved camping. Wayne was employed by Clean Harbors for over 40 years and recently retired.

Beloved husband of Frances Cinquemano Swanson. Loving father of Melanie Walker and the late Wayne Albert Swanson, Jr. Grandfather of John “Matt” Walker, Jr., Mason Anthony Walker and Mitchell Walker. Son of the late Pearl and Henry Swanson. Brother of Barry Swanson (Wendy), Debbie Raschke (Walter), Barbara Turner (Roland), Brenda Cummings and the late Henry and Michael Swanson. Brother-in-law of Anthony Cinquemano (Judy) and Josie Lange (Phil). Also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends that he loved very much.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy., LaPlace on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose, LA.
