Fish Dat Rodeo postponed to June 5

Hahnville – Due to weather causing high waters and closures of boat launches in St. Charles Parish, the Fish Dat Rodeo scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2021, has been postponed to June 5, 2021, at the Bonnet Carre’ Spillway Boat Launch and Pavilion.

Registration for the Fish Dat Rodeo will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 4 at www.scpparksandrec.com. If you have registered and are unable to participate in the June 5 contest, you should contact the Department of Parks and Recreation for a full refund.

The Fish Dat Rodeo is open to all St. Charles Parish residents and legal Louisiana fishing licensed persons. A Louisiana fishing license is required for anglers 16 and older. All Louisiana fishing regulations apply. Registration is $5 for children 12 years of age and younger and $10 for those older than 13.
