Cassidy speaks to Louisiana Legislature
BATON ROUGE – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today visited the Louisiana State Capitol to speak to the legislature, thank them for their work to improve our state and express his commitment to assisting their efforts in Congress.
“Louisiana legislators on a federal and state level have to work together to achieve everything we can possibly achieve,” said Dr. Cassidy. “I thank the Legislature for the opportunity to speak to them. More importantly, I thank them for their partnership.”
House Speaker Clay Schexnayder welcomed Dr. Cassidy to the Legislature. “I was happy to welcome Senator Cassidy to the House today,” said Speaker Schexnayder. “It’s always good to have our Senator stop by to hear the concerns of our State Representatives.”
