SCSO seeks public’s help regarding a shooting in Luling

Sheriff Champagne seeks the public’s assistance in a shooting investigation from an incident that occurred on April 24, 2021 on Gassen Street in Luling, LA.
On April 24, 2021, just after 9:30 p.m., the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call related to gunshots in the 1000 block of Gassen Street in Luling, Louisiana. Deputies arrived on scene and located several bullet casings in the area of the shooting.
No injuries were reported form the incident, but an unoccupied residence and an unoccupied vehicle sustained damage from apparent gunfire.
Homeowners in the area with security cameras area are asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office to allow detectives to review the video during the time frame of the incident.
