St. John the Baptist Parish – This week, doses of COVID vaccine are available at 1,525 providers in all 64 parishes. The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) has published the list of participating providers, along with their locations and contact information at https://buff.ly/2PeyXV9. You can also call 1-855-453-0774 for assistance.
A list of community vaccine events around the state has also been updated and can be found at https://buff.ly/3saNWht.
To ensure all St. John residents have access to the vaccine, the Department of Health & Human Services & Office of Public Safety with the Louisiana Department of Health are bringing shots to residents who are homebound. If you or a loved one has a medical or mobility need preventing you from getting a vaccine elsewhere, please call DHHS at 985-536-4955 to sign up.
This service does not apply to individuals who lack transportation. We encourage residents to take advantage of the transportation service offered by the River Parish Transit Authority by calling 985-651-1141 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
