SCSO seeks help investigating an animal cruelty case

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in an animal cruelty investigation.
It is believed that on April 5, 2021, between 6:00 am and 9:00 am a black and white colored cat was shot, possibly with a pellet gun, in St. Rose near Oak Manor Lane.
The cat sustained injuries to the facial area and jaw resulting in it needing a surgical procedure to ensure the cats survival.
