St. James Parish President Pete Dufresne announced Tuesday, the annual State of the Parish Report has been mailed to residents parish-wide and additionally made available online at www.stjamelas.com.
The report details accomplishments of parish government departments, budgeted information and the number of dollars saved to taxpayers in 2020. While the mailed version of this report is a high-level synopsis of information, a more detailed version of the report can also be found on the parish website.
“I’m proud of the hard work and dedication of our employees amidst the challenges presented by Covid-19 last year. I am happy to showcase the accomplishments of each of our parish departments and my administration,” said President Dufresne. He continued, “I look forward to continuing the hard work we started last year and making more progress for the people of St. James Parish.”
A state of the parish address will be announced in the coming days, where President Dufresne will provide a detailed look at the report and forecast what’s to come in 2021.
The report can be found online, here.
